Ok, so the title is misleading, but it has a point. We took a day trip to Sun Valley a couple of days ago. Ernest Hemingway's beloved Sun Valley/Ketchum, Idaho. The change of scenery was much needed and greatly enjoyed. We've decided it's no Jackson Hole, but really...what else is? There were ridiculously over-priced shops, interesting art galleries and a memorial to, who else, Ernest Hemingway. It's not hard to see why Hemingway loved it here. It's gorgeous!
On the drive to Sun Valley. Warm and sunny. Yay!
We walked around the shops in Ketchum and stared at the Sawtooths.
On our way out to Sun Valley resort, we saw this church and dog. We fell in love with both.
The incredible Hemingway Memorial. I'm not gonna lie...it was a smidge jarring. You walk up to it from above and then climb down some stairs and it (no joke) looked like a floating bronze head. Creepers.
