To Move or Not To Move?

Matt's last semester is about to start in a few weeks, so we're drawing close to the end of our time here in Rexburg. It's a strange, exciting, scary time in our lives. We have been doing a lot of thinking, fasting and praying about whether we should move to Ohio, to be close to my family, or stay here in Idaho, which would be closer to Matt's family. I think we're two of the luckiest people, because both of our families have been really supportive of our plans and ideas (no matter how crazy they may have seemed). We've given a lot of thought to where it is we want to move after graduation and decided that either Idaho or Ohio would be best, so we could be close to one family or the other. Matt's staying with UPS and already has a job with them here, plus he found out that a couple of guys are retiring this year and a couple more next year, which could mean that he could get a job in the nearer future. For me, I feel like I've missed out on so many big events in my sisters' lives that I want to go back home to be around when Lindsey graduates and all that. But in a year or two Lindsey could be in Idaho going to school with Kelli. My parents will be empty nesters, which could free up money and time to visit us out here. Matt and I have also decided that taking longer vacations, say 3 weeks a year or so, would be doable for us. That would be like 21 days with one family or another, which might end up being the same amount of time we would see the family we lived near for the year. If this isn't confusing you yet, we probably have had hours of discussing this topic and still haven't lessened our own confusion. We're just having a hard time trying not to disappoint anyone and to move into the mind frame that we have to do what's best for the two of us, as well as our future kids. It's a tough transition. Well...enough ranting and "woe is me-ing" for now. We'll let everyone know when we hit a conclusion, which may be the day Matt graduates! Kidding, but seriously...it could happen. Anyways...it's dinnertime and I've exhausted the deepest caverns of my mind with this torturous decision. Talk to you all later.
