Death Cab for Cutie and Coldplay are two of my favorite bands! And wonder of all wonders...this summer they are both coming out with new, greatly anticipated and longingly awaited albums! Double YAY!!! We've had the new Death Cab for Cutie album, "Narrow Stairs", for a week or two now and it keeps blowing my mind! Personal favorite..."Grapevine Fires". Anyways...I think it's more like their older stuff than "Plans", which is why I love it so. We can't wait for June, so we can get Coldplay's cd! Oh, my heart is about to burst with Ben Gibbard's lyrics! Ok...enough of my tragic dorkiness.
Anyways...we had a pretty rad weekend. Saturday we went shopping in Idaho Falls. Nothing too exciting, but we did get some summer essentials...t-shirts, sandals, books, etc. Sunday we went to church and renewed our temple recommends, so we can go this Saturday before we leave for Boise and make our once a month goal. That night we made a vanilla cake with apple pie filling in it and I thought Matt was gonna die! He ate like 3 huge pieces...needless to say, he liked it. Monday we slept in way and got fried chicken and potatoes from Albertson's and had an indoor Memorial Day picnic while watching "27 Dresses". It was alright. We also found these amazing loft apartments with 12 foot ceilings in Cleveland and are thinking of renting one for awhile before we get a house, but we'll see. We're mainly winding down and getting ready to celebrate Matt's graduation and getting ready for our move to Ohio! We'll let everyone know how Boise goes sometime next week!
