Matt and Donna Ternus
We had SO much fun in Pittsburgh last week with my family! We spent April 23rd, Mr. Matt's birthday, exploring the city of steel and it was splendid. First, we went to the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium. It was a really nice zoo and none of us had ever been to an aquarium before, so that was really interesting. Then we had a birthday lunch at McFadden's next to PNC Park, where the Pittsburgh Pirates play. Our last stop was the Carnegie Museum of Art. There were so many amazing paintings. We saw Monets, a Picasso, Renoirs, a Pollock, a Rothko and my favorite...a Van Gogh!!! The textures and colors in Van Gogh's "The Plain of Auvers" were incredible, breathtaking and extremely moving. I will never forget that moment and Matt and I will never forget our day in Pittsburgh spending time with and making memories with my family! Thank you guys! We love you!
